This beautiful heath is found in large swathes in a private property just north of the Risdon Brook Reserve, ~500m east from the northern gate to the Gunner Quoin fenced area. The area can be accessed from the east from the summit of Grasstree Hill following an old track around the hill 431 then down beside an old water course and across a ridge and around the next knoll to a gate in a N/S fence. On the west of the fence the largest swathe of the beautiful Epacris acuminata. More swathes are found along the eastern skirt of Gunners Quoin on private property.
Who can tell us about another good location, please?
